COST: Because we aren't sending a traditional inspector out, the cost of this inspection is lower and the savings are passed on directly to you as the customer. We have partnered with an AI program that inspects thousands of submitted videos daily.
CONVENIENCE: The app removes the hassle of scheduling a third party to conduct the inspection before your policy cancels. It is convenient, more secure, and less invasive than having a stranger enter your home.
SAFETY CONCERNS: We love dogs but dogs don't always love inspectors. Ask Sarah Tilyou! Before joining Bigfoot Inspections, she worked on the carrier side conducting traditional inspections from an app.
Why can’t an inspector come out?
If you do not consent to using the app, you can contact your agent or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org to cancel this self-inspection request.
They will work with your underwriter to order a traditional inspection for an increased fee at the market rate in your area. If this is not completed within 30 days, the carrier will send a notice of cancellation.
Please note that we no longer accept photo submissions outside the Bigfoot Inspections App unless specific photos were not provided in the initial self-inspection.
